MY SCHOOL ✨️

      


     Girls’ High School Mt. Lavinia was started in 1924 with a few students and a few teachers as an English girls’ school. By 2012 after 88 years the school has grown to be a prominent girls’ school in the country with over 2700 students and a staff of over 100, with classes from primary school up to A/L with many extracurricular activities.

                                                      It is located in Mount Lavinia.  The present principal is Madam N.R.P Kumari.  Also from 1924 to today my school has grown day by day under various principals.

A lot of people  learned in my school are doing good jobs in a lot of places today.  The school guided my journey as well as my teachers.

My school has had many successes as a school.  Another of its aims is to produce good women for society.

                                 My school is now 97 years old.  The disadvantaged women who were born out of it have gone on to advance themselves in many different fields.

              I wish my school a long life.

  Music, the world is amazing, people are diverse.  As human beings we enjoy the world in one way or another.  Some like to be alone, some like to dance or play, some like to spend time with someone, and some like to enjoy music, it's like a medicine that heals the mind. Even before we are born, we follow our mother's heartbeat.  From the moment we are born, our mother's lullaby songs heal us. That's why we pay attention to melodious music today as we did then .   There are a lot of meaningless songs too, but we all fall in love with some kind of music.
